Terms & Conditions
These are the terms and conditions of hire from us. By hiring a costume/item from us you are agreeing to these terms. So please take care to read them.
- All costumes are only hired out to personal callers at our shop. We regret that we do not offer a mail-order service for costume hire. We strongly recommend that all costumes are tried on for fit and suitability before hiring.
- Security deposits are payable on collection of costumes and are refundable provided costumes are returned on time and in good order.
- Excessive soiling and any damage will be charged for and this will be deducted from the security deposit.
- Lost items and items damaged beyond repair will be charged for at the full replacement cost which, in the case of complete costumes, is usually considerably more than the security deposit.
- All costumes remain the property of Party Pieces at all times.
- A cancellation fee of £5 is charged on all cancelled costumes. A further £5 is charged if a costume is cancelled within 2 weeks of the hire date. There will be no refund if a costume is cancelled within 48 hours of the hire date.
- Costumes not returned by the specified time will be subject to an additional charge of £10 per day.
- Please do not wash costumes or attach sticky labels.
- Proof of identity may be required when you collect your costume.
We believe our costumes leave in good condition with all their accessories and therefore advise you to check your costume before leaving
as loss or damage will be charged for.
